Honeycomb Paper — Frequently Asked Questions

What is honeycomb paper?

Honeycomb paper is a kraft paper roll pre-cut into a hexagonal pattern. When you pull it by hand, it expands into a durable 3D cushioning mesh. You wrap the product, tear it by hand, and pack in seconds — no tape, scissors, or machinery needed. It is used for fragile-item wrapping and void fill inside boxes, as a plastic-free alternative to bubble wrap.

What GSM is ReGenPack honeycomb paper?

ReGenPack honeycomb paper is 80–90 GSM, with a consistent basis weight held roll-to-roll for predictable performance on a packing line.

How strong is it? What is the burst factor (BF)?

The finished honeycomb has a burst factor of 24–30+ BF after forming. This high burst strength absorbs shocks and impacts in transit, protecting glass, ceramics, electronics, and auto parts.

Is honeycomb paper recyclable and eco-friendly?

Yes. ReGenPack honeycomb paper is made from 100% recycled kraft and is fully recyclable again. There is zero plastic in the product, the core, or its packaging, which helps businesses meet ESG and sustainable-procurement targets.

Honeycomb paper vs bubble wrap — which is better?

Both cushion fragile items, but honeycomb paper is plastic-free, recyclable, and biodegradable, while bubble wrap is plastic. Honeycomb's hexagonal mesh self-locks around products without tape, ships flat, and expands on demand — so it stores compactly. For brands that want a premium, sustainable unboxing experience, honeycomb paper is the eco alternative.

Do I need tape or a machine to use it?

No. The hexagonal mesh self-locks around the product, so no adhesive is required. You use it straight from the roll by hand — no dispenser, scissors, or machinery needed.

What can I wrap with honeycomb paper?

It suits cosmetics, jewellery, skincare, gifts and hampers, glassware, ceramics, pharma products, electronics, and auto parts. The mesh naturally locks around products of different shapes and sizes, making it ideal for both fragile-item wrapping and void fill.

What sizes and widths are available?

ReGenPack offers two widths: 250mm (~10 inch) for D2C and boutique use, and 500mm (~20 inch) for industrial and warehouse use. Roll lengths range from a 50m trial roll up to 200m high-volume rolls.

How much does honeycomb paper cost?

D2C rolls (250mm) start from ₹229 for a 50m trial roll. Industrial rolls (500mm) start from ₹599. All prices are ex-GST; a full GST invoice is provided with every order and input tax credit (ITC) is claimable for registered businesses. Bulk and pallet pricing is available on request.

Can I get my logo printed on the honeycomb roll?

Yes. ReGenPack offers single-colour Flexo logo printing applied directly to the roll, done in-house at our Vadodara unit. The minimum is 5 rolls per design, with a one-time stereo (plate) charge that varies by roll size. This turns plain protective wrap into a branded unboxing moment.

Do you offer sample or trial rolls?

Yes. Trial and sample rolls are available so you can test the product on your real packing floor before committing to volume. The 250mm × 50m roll is our dedicated trial size.

Are you a manufacturer or a trader?

ReGenPack is a direct manufacturer. We produce honeycomb paper in-house in Vadodara, so you buy at factory rates with no distributor and no markup. We hold in-house capacity for steady supply on repeat and high-volume orders.

Where is ReGenPack located, and where do you deliver?

ReGenPack manufactures in Vadodara, Gujarat. Our location gives a freight advantage — lower outbound shipping cost and faster delivery across Gujarat and Central India.

Do you provide a GST invoice?

Yes. A valid GST invoice is provided with every order, and input tax credit (ITC) is fully claimable for GST-registered businesses. All prices are quoted ex-GST, ex-Vadodara.

Is there a minimum order, and do you offer bulk pricing?

Single rolls are available for trials and small buyers. For volume, bulk and pallet pricing is available on request, and large B2B orders are quoted directly based on negotiated freight rates. Custom logo printing requires a minimum of 5 rolls per design.
